The analysis of the tools and methods used in practice to regulate investment activity is carried out. On the basis of foreign experience, the features and advantages of public-private partnership as one of the tools for managing regional investment activity are investigated. In order to activate investment activity at the meso-level, the instruments of public-private partnership suggest ways to improve information, analytical and institutional support for investment activities, as well as the legislative framework with the expansion of the functions of regional authorities to conclude an agreement on public-private partnership.
