The scientific and practical journal "Science and Innovations", founded by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (https://nasb.gov.by/rus/about/glavnaya/ ) has been published since January 16, 2003. This is an interdisciplinary edition, it publishes the most important news and events in Belarusian science, state scientific and technical policy, the results of the scientific achievements introduced in economic practice. Particular attention is paid to the issues of innovative development, management and technology transfer, and other relevant aspects of the knowledge-based economy. The edition discusses conceptual and practical approaches to creating and stimulating innovations, protection of industrial property objects, its commercialization, problems of personnel training, etc.

The Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus included the "Science and Innovations" in the list of scientific journals for publishing the results of dissertation research in biological, medical, and economic sciences (problems of innovative development). The journal is included in the database of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), as well as in the EVSCO international database. Scientific articles are assigned a DOI – a digital object identifier.

Publication frequency: 12 issues / year.

Abstract

The definitions of the terms «cybercrime» and «cyberoffense» have been clarified, and the main forms and trends of criminal activity in the digital space have been analyzed. The paper examines its economic implications and analyzes the key provisions of the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) and the policy documents of individual countries. Measures have been proposed to improve the system for combating cybercrime in the context of digital globalization, including the development of a national cybersecurity system, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the work of government agencies, the improvement of the regulatory framework, the strengthening of international cooperation, and the development of human resources in this field. The results of the study can be used in the development of public policy in the field of digital security and combating cybercrime.
