ЭКОНОМИКА КАЧЕСТВА
An interview with BelGISS expert Igor Shkadretsov highlights key aspects of implementing lean management according to the new STB 2672-2025 standard, which aims to improve enterprise efficiency by identifying internal growth potential rather than relying on external investment.
INNOVATION ECONOMY
This research examines the role and importance of innovation, summarizes existing developments in this area and provides a modern scientific interpretation of both the definition of «innovation» and the pressing need for the continuous implementation of the latest scientific advances in the Agro-Industrial Complex. It's shown that examining innovation within the context of a management system allows for a more focused assessment of the effectiveness of innovation activities (from concept to product), identifying challenges and finding appropriate solutions, as well as selecting management tools and methods to achieve the desired outcome. It's concluded that, in the future, product cooperation and integration based on cluster organization will become the primary focus of agricultural sustainability, transitioning it to an innovation-investment model that will ensure the industry's accelerated growth and self-sufficiency

CHERNOBYL: 40 YEARS OF REFLECTION
Decision-making on the timing, prospective trends and socio-economic efficiency of recultivated lands after reducing the levels of radionuclides contamination to acceptable levels should be supported by the results of the proposed forecast on changes in natural plant complexes. Analysis of the achieved results shows that more than 85% of the areas withdrawn from agricultural usage after the Chernobyl accident will result in an increase in the level of swampiness over the next 30 years. This is mostly due to the gradual deterioration of soil drainage characteristics and climate change. For more than 85% of the plots, the bushiness increases over time, which is associated with the natural process of succession and the almost complete absence of anthropogenic activity, plowing of land and grazing of livestock. The average growth of bushiness for all plots is 2–4% of the current state per decade, depending on the initial conditions. The total area of all plots covered with trees and shrubs by 2050 will be about 72% of the total area of land excluded from agricultural usage after the Chernobyl catastrophe

During field trials conducted in northeastern Belarus, a positive effect of humic acid-based plant growth regulators on the yield and quality of Belarusian varieties of common tobacco was established. The highest yield of dry leaves of common tobacco was obtained by using humic acid-based plant growth regulators (Fitogumin, Zh and Gumiland, Zh) at a dose of 1,5 l/ha. Belarusian Cigarette – 33,4–33,6 c/ha (an increase of 4.7–4.9 c/ha), Belarusian Cigar – 26,2–26,8 c/ha (an increase of 3,6–4,2 c/ ha). The results of laboratory studies of the quality of the obtained tobacco leaves showed that the use of plant growth regulators Fitohumin, Zh and Gumiland, Zh at a dose of 1.5 l / ha improved their quality: the nicotine content was 1,65% Belarusian cigarette (1C), 1,59–1,61% Belarusian cigar (1C); the carbohydrate content was 7,35–8,46% Belarusian cigarette (1C), 6,21–6,35% Belarusian cigar (2C); the protein content was 4,58–5,48% Belarusian cigarette (BC), 6,15–7.54% Belarusian cigar (BC); Shmuk number Belarusian cigarette 1,6 (ВС), Belarusian cigar 0,8–1,0% (1–2С).
DISSERTATION RESEARCH
The parameters of tissue respiration in different parts of the small intestine of Af mice were analyzed during chronic exposure to the electromagnetic field (EMF) of a Wi-Fi device. A decrease in maximum respiratory capacity was demonstrated in all sections of the small intestine. However, the most critical effect was a disruption of the mitochondrial response to an oxidative phosphorylation uncoupler. In the duodenum and jejunum, the stimulating effect of 2,4-dinitrophenol became statistically insignificant, indicating functional depletion of the respiratory reserve in these sections. In the ileum, respiratory reserve was preserved. According to the combined criterion – changes in basal endogenous respiration and impaired metabolic reserve – the duodenum demonstrated the greatest vulnerability to chronic exposure to electromagnetic fields. These data suggest that long-term exposure to electromagnetic radiation may underlie the development of functional gastrointestinal disorders and a decrease in intestinal barrier function by limiting the energy supply to its cells.
