The city as a biosystem: Architectural and urban planning concepts and implementations
Abstract
The article considers the concept of the city as a complex, self-developing biosystem throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. Experimental and implemented projects are examined, revealing the specifics of contemporary urban strategies based on the concept of the city as a biosystem.
