Assessment of the domestic transport infrastructure and transportation development dynamics

Abstract

The article provides a detailed analysis of statistical data characterizing the transport system of the Republic of Belarus. Key indicators of the transport industry are considered, including freight traffic volumes, passenger turnover, cargo turnover, as well as the length of highways. Particular attention is paid to the dynamics of changes in the transport infrastructure in recent years, including the modernization of the road network, the development of public transport and the increase in the share of electric vehicles. A comparative analysis of regional features of transport development is carried out, which allows identifying imbalances and potential growth points. The article also assesses the impact of macroeconomic factors on the transport industry, including the level of investment in infrastructure, government development programs and changes in international logistics flows. Practical recommendations are offered aimed at optimizing the transport system, improving the quality of transportation and increasing the efficiency of transport logistics. A conclusion is made about the need for digitalization of the transport sector, the introduction of innovative technologies and sustainable development of transport infrastructure.
