Abstract

The article deals with the economic aspects of the application of the norms on trade secrets (know-how) in connection with the constant transformation of approaches to the legal protection of this intellectual property object in the Republic of Belarus. The article considers the issues of valuation of trade secrets (know-how), reflection of operations with them in accounting, validity of their inclusion in the intangible assets of the organisation. The conclusion is made that due to the interest of the Republic of Belarus in strengthening the innovation component of the economy, it is advisable to return to the possibility of transferring the right to use the information constituting trade secrets (know-how) under the agreement rather than the information itself. This is connected with the legal definition of the object of intangible assets as a set of property rights. The authors propose to use a systematic approach to changing the rules on the acceptance of property rights to intellectual property objects for accounting as intangible assets, which can be facilitated by the choice of one of the proposed models.

STRATEGIC IMPERATIVES

Abstract

The concept of «economic potential» is widely used in national economic security research. But usually, it may turn inadequate in case of analysis trade war and politically motivated economic sanctions. We argue that it can be replaced with game theory concept of bargaining power. In the result of the change in paradigm, all the involved parties can get the common strategy of resolving the conflict. As an example, the PRC – USA trade war is taken.

ASTROPHYSICS

Abstract

This review focuses on primordial black holes, i.e. the black holes that were formed in the very early Universe in the prestellar era, before the formation of stars. The author presented the data on observations of antimatter in our galaxy, which was predicted within the framework.

DISSERTATION RESEARCH

74-78 99
Abstract

The paper describes the functionalities of the electronic handbook of risks of agricultural production above the food safety standards that establish the maximum permissible levels of 137Cs and 90Sr. The handbook is based on the methods that allow to assess and analyze the risk of food non-compliance either for each radionuclide individually (137Cs or 90Sr), or simultaneously for both radionuclides (137Cs and 90Sr). The RISKAgro can be used as an aid tool to rapidly assess the suitability of land resources of agricultural organizations for the production of regulatory clean products in terms of existing national or harmonized Union State standards of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, as well as any new or changing legal requirements for the quality and safety of foodstuffs, feedstuffs and raw materials. Introduction of the RISKAgro handbook into agricultural practices in the areas of radioactive contamination will help to minimize contamination levels of 137Cs and 90Sr, improve the radiological quality of foods and prevent against production of highly contaminated agricultural produces above the established norms.

Abstract

The biological marker of parthanatosis is Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP), the activation of which is associated with various pathological processes in the body. Tumor tissue samples from patients with morphologically verified liver and colon cancer were studied. The control consisted of liver and intestinal tissues of the same patients not affected by a tumor, and intravital biopsies (native tissue) of the liver and intestines of non-cancer patients. Determination of the concentration of antibodies to PARP and determination of DNA/RNA viruses (VEB, HBV, HCV, HPV, CMV, HSV1/2, HHV6) in tissue samples was carried out by enzyme immunoassay and polymerase chain reaction method. The research results showed that the concentration of antibodies to PARP in tissue extracts from tumor processes is higher than in native tissue samples (p<0.05) and in tissue with «no criteria for malignancy» (p<0,05). The relationship between the frequency of isolation of DNA-containing viruses (HHV6, CMV, VEB) from tumor tissues and the concentration of PARP antibodies (p<0,05) suggests that DNA damage to cells is stimulated by viruses during oncogenesis of the liver and colon.
