It is the first material of the journal “Science and Innovation” and the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus joint project, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders “Liberation. Based on the experience of the BSU Institute of Nuclear Problems in the development of nuclear physics measuring and dosimetric equipment and, in particular, detector elements for various purposes, the impact of these works on diagnostics and therapy in medicine, transport safety, hydrocarbon exploration and non-proliferation of fissile materials, nondestructive testing was shown.
