Work experience and career orientations of academic degree applicants

Abstract

Based on the sociological research results, there are given indicators of the professional status and work scientific activity of applicants for academic degrees in Belarus: their professional self-identification, motivation in choosing a profession, conditions for scientific activity and successful defense of a dissertation, as well as the personal qualities, gender differences and career orientation that contribute to this.
