Editing genomes using the CRISPR/Cas9 system to create plants with new properties

Abstract

The article presents the opportunities and advantages of genetic genome editing using the CRISPR/Cas9 system, as well as the first results of the Belarusian scientists in creating potatoes resistant to late blight with help of this technology.
