The role of academic linguistics in the socio-economic and spiritual-cultural life of the Republic of Belarus
Abstract
The author considered the scientific, practical and social significance of the academic linguists’ works. He showed their role in increasing the prestige of the Belarusian language in the society and consolidating its status as a highly developed literary language which has stable norms and rich vocabulary.
