Abstract

The concept of industrial innovation ecosystems (IIEs) is examined as the most complex and promising form of organizing innovation and production activities under the conditions of Industry 5.0 and 6.0. The comparative analysis of innovation clusters, networks, and ecosystems is conducted in the context of industrial development, based on which the conclusions are drawn regarding their interrelationships and development. The research is grounded in the quintuple helix innovation model integrated with artificial intelligence, as well as the principles and features of industrial symbiosis, which makes it possible to characterize the contemporary conditions and factors for the formation of IIEs. Based on the results of the selected best foreign practices analysis (Denmark, China, Japan, and Finland), some key approaches to building IIEs and the prospects for their application in the Republic of Belarus are identified. It is noted that the ecosystem approach to implementing industrial policy is capable of ensuring greater flexibility, resilience, and competitiveness of organizations.
