<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Every year there is a rapid increase in cancer, which is one of the main causes of death. Methods used to treat cancer often do not produce the desired results and can cause various side effects. Therefore, to effectively combat cancer, it is necessary to find new solutions. The use of nanotechnology opens up new opportunities in the diagnosis and treatment of human malignant tumors. Nanoparticles used in antitumor therapy can act as carriers of drugs and nucleic acids,  and also reduce the toxicity of anticancer drugs. This review is devoted to the analysis of the interaction of various nanomaterials with small anticancer RNAs.  Data are presented on the use of some non-toxic and effective multifunctional nanoconjugates in gene therapy for the treatment and diagnosis of cancer.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>наноматериалы</kwd><kwd>дендримеры</kwd><kwd>миРНК</kwd><kwd>наноконъюгаты</kwd><kwd>наноносители</kwd><kwd>нанокомпозиты</kwd><kwd>рак</kwd><kwd>фототермическая терапия</kwd><kwd>фотодинамическая терапия</kwd><kwd>генная терапия</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>nanomaterials</kwd><kwd>dendrimers</kwd><kwd>siRNA</kwd><kwd>nanoconjugates</kwd><kwd>nanocarriers</kwd><kwd>nanocomposites</kwd><kwd>cancer</kwd><kwd>photothermal therapy</kwd><kwd>photodynamic therapy</kwd><kwd>gene therapy</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Dendron-functionalised hyperbranched bis-MPA polyesters as effi ient non-viral vectors for gene therapy in different cell line / M.
