Авторами изложены общая характеристика, исторические аспекты заболеваний, вызываемых поксвирусами, вакцинопрофилактика и возможности специфического лечения.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This review addresses the poxviruses which are the most dangerous and urgent biological threats, especially smallpox and monkeypox.
